West Cork Stone Symposium, Durus, Ireland 22-24 March

Friday 22nd March 2019 to Sunday 24th March 2019
Add to Calendar 22-03-2019 24-03-2019 Europe/London West Cork Stone Symposium, Durus, Ireland 22-24 March

West Cork Stone Symposium is back for the third year, following the success of the first two. In 2019 it is moving again, this time up the Sheep's Head peninsula to Durrus - the festival is moved around the peninsula's villages and the community at Durrus is planning a great welcome for those attending the festival.

Plan Your Workshops

When you go online to book, you'll see that single day tickets are available for stone carving and dry stone walling and you can also book multi-day passes so that you can make the most of the expert tuition on offer.

Everyone is welcome, from beginner to expert, and the organisers are looking forward to recreating the wonderful atmosphere enjoyed in Ahakista and Kilcrohane in previous years.

Guided walks and tours on the Sheep's Head peninsula will be available and the final details of a full cultural programme of walks, music, talks and exhibitions will be added to the website as it is arranged.

Last year's workshops sold out entirely, so early booking is advisable.
