Diatex shows new diamond blades for cutting ceramics at Hard Surfaces

Diatex has created what it believes is the ultimate range of saw blades for cutting large format ceramic and sintered materials.

Italian company Diatex has been a leading manufacturer of diamond tools for ceramics, stone and glass for 20 years. Now, using sandwich technology to combine materials, Diatex has created the ideal range of blades for cutting large format ceramic and sintered stone slabs. It will be showing the range at Hard Surfaces, the new exhibition co-locating with the Natural Stone Show at ExCeL in London from 30 April to 2 May.

There are blades for cutting:

  • Dekton
  • Neolith
  • Laminam
  • Porcelain Gres
  • Techlam
  • Sapienstone
  •  Maxfine
  • And more

The blades of this innovative line come with a D-CODE (or QR code) that you can use your smartphone to read to find out the best speed and feed rate to obtain optimal cutting.

The blades for cutting large ceramic slabs go under the names of Grescut, Lapicut, Dekcut, MITERcut and Fortyfive.

The benefit of using diamond blades rather than a waterjet to cut ceramics is that it is so much quicker.
