Tina Bailey, Sales Manager at Block Stone for many years until last year, has now joined Fairhurst Stone Merchants Ltd in Settle, North Yorkshire.

Tina says: "It’s good to be back in the stone industry and I am very happy to announce my appointment with Fairhurst Stone Merchants Ltd."

She adds: "There are exciting times ahead, promoting our range nationwide and abroad. I shall be visiting the Stone+Mac exhibition in Verona in September."  

The Fairhurst Stone range includes Marsh Buff Yorkstone, Langcliffe Buff Sandstone, Corncockle Red Sandstone and Whitworth Blue Yorkstone. Tina will be selling blocks of the stones to stonemasonry companies.

"The materials will be available as dimensional grade block and walling grade block and slab, with the exception of Whitworth Blue, which can be purchased as slab only in the UK.

"We also have unlimited amounts of Whitworth Top Bed wall grade block, which is suitable for the production of blackened wall stone."
