New award for young dry stone wallers

The Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA) has a new award - the Ronnie Ball Award - to recognise the achievements of dry stone wallers under the age of 21.

The Award is named after the late Ronnie Ball, a dry stone walling enthusiast for most of his life.

The Award will have two standards: gold and silver. The DSWA anticipates making several silver awards a year, but only one gold award for excellence.
