Architects fully appreciate the complementary nature of glass and stone and the winners of the Kent Design & Development Awards will get a reminder of it in the trophies they receive. Designed by Kent artist Annie Ross they involve glass supported on Kentish Ragstone from Gallagher Group’s Hermitage Lane quarry.

Pat Gallagher, Chairman of Gallagher Group, says: “In 2016 we were pleased to win the Infrastructure & Renewables category for our Cut & Cover Tunnel at Hermitage Quarry, and we proudly display our Annie Ross trophy in our offices.

“It gives us great pleasure to be able once again to provide the Kentish Ragstone that forms an important part of the trophies that will be displayed by the best from the county’s property industry.”
