Haysom run courses in Purbeck stone

Following the success of last year’s lettering courses, Purbeck limestone quarry company Haysom are running another course from 18 to 22 May.

The tutors are once again Annet Stirling and Brenda Berman, who taught lettering at the highly regarded City and Guilds of London Art School before forming their own company, Incisive Letterwork, in 1988. Their work includes the inscriptions on the portico at the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery’s Ondaatje Wing.

The course costs £300 (excluding meals and accommodation). For an application form call 01929 439205 or e-mail [email protected]
