Machinery and equipment supplier New Stone Age has responded to requests from its customers for dust extraction solutions with a new collaboration with Ceragioli Carlo & C as the company’s exclusive reseller in the UK & Ireland.
Ceragioli Carlo has an extensive range of dust extraction systems based on its experience of manufacturing such equipment for more than 35 years. It has dry and wet walls, extraction benches and mobile units.
New Stone Age already has an established reputation for providing water management and recycling systems through Omec, which it represents. The systems have been installed by some of the largest British stone producers.
But dust control is also an issue and different companies require different solutions, depending on the size of the business and the materials being worked, which is why New Stone Age wanted to be associated with Ceragioli Carlo & C, which can provide solutions for most requirements.
One of them is the MCC Dry Jet vacuum wall with dry filtration pictured above. Made entirely of galvanized sheet steel and with self-cleaning filters using a pneumatic washing system, it claims a filtration efficiency of more than 95% thanks to the Class BIA USGC/M filter elements (comparable to F9).
Several widths are available, from 2000 to 5000mm with 98m² to 162m² of filtering surface and 9,500 to 15,000m³/hour of intake air flow.

MOBILE VACUUM FILTER UNITS made entirely of galvanized sheet steel and featuring an average filtration efficiency of more than 95% thanks to the BIA USGC/M filtering elements, comparable to F9 (according to EN779).
The filter elements are self-cleaning through a washing system under counter-pressure operated by a cyclical electropneumatic timer.
Excellent quality self-supporting trunk arms (160mm DIA x 3m long), complete with metal cap with handle and butterfly damper.
The suction tube must be placed by the operator 200-300mm from the position the dust is generated.
The MONOCUBO has one suction tube arm and has 20m² of filtering surface giving 1,800m³/hour of intake air flow.
The BICUBO has two suction tube arms with 40m² of filtering surface giving 3,600m³/hour of intake air flow.
CC 2000 EVOLUTION and CC COMPACT are vacuum benches with dry filtration.
