John Krause, the 41-year-old joint managing director of Diespeker Marble & Terrazzo Ltd, of Ormside Street, SE15, completed the 22nd Flora London Marathon on Sunday 14 April in a respectable time of 3 hrs 49 minutes. He was 7,933rd.

Krause was running for the second time to raise money for Diabetes UK. Last year he raised more than £ 3,500 with the help of family, friends, clients & suppliers. He hopes to surpass that this time.
