The concept of Lapicida’s highly impressive 2,000m2 stone showroom in Harrogate, which recently won the 2010 Northern Design Award, is being exported to the South.
Jason Cherrington’s Lapicida have opened two new Stone Studios, one in Marylebone, London, and another in the Fired Earth store in Cobham, Surrey.
They have also refreshed their website, introducing an e-store for a range of finished products, although not stone tiles or slabs. Altogether, they say, 2011 is stacking up to be an exciting year.
Lapicida are among the top specialists in natural stone in the UK. They have an international client profile and have always said that their clients are prepared to travel to Yorkshire to see them.
Nevertheless, they felt they needed a presence in the capital and have opened a 100m2 studio in Marylebone displaying their range of luxury natural stone and rare antique French, English, Jerusalem and Italian reclaimed stone.
In the Fired Earth store in Cobham, Lapicida have created five exclusive floor tile collections. The Lapicida Exclusive Collection is also available at Fired Earth’s 55 stores throughout the UK and Ireland.
