Building Site Management (Conservation) has become the latest occupation to join the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

Those with NVQ level four may apply for the platinum Manager Card and there is also a three years industry accreditation.

CSCS Secretary Bill Jenkins said: "I am always pleased when new occupations join the scheme. Skills competence and Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental are so important in the construction industry.

"Schemes such as CSCS can only raise standards and when standards are raised, safety is increased along with reputation.
