Lime course on Friday (13 March): last few places remaining

Practical Lime Training Day: Lime Rendering & Lime Plastering

Friday 13 March

The Practical Lime Training Day is being run by Cornish Lime Company at its Bodmin site in Cornwall and there are still a few places left if you are looking for some tuition in lime rendering and plastering under the expert tutelage of Viv Stratton and Phil Brown.

Viv is a qualified Plasterer having served an apprenticeship with a time served Plasterer albeit 53 years ago. He has run Plastering courses at Cornwall College where he lectured on Construction and Civil Engineering for 30 years and spent 5 years teaching Heritage Skills to adults at the Robinsons Mine for Cornwall College, as well as spending 6 years setting up the new Heritage Skills Qualification.

Viv works very closely with SPAB in developing standards for heritage building in plastering, roofing, stonework and brickwork.

The course requires no previous experience and a buffet lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments during the day are provided. All delegates receive a comprehensive literature pack, a basic safety pack and support and assistance on projects.

The one-day course is £75.00 plus VAT.
