Super-strength FilaMAX wax removing cleaner has joined the surface care range from Fila.
A water and solvent mix formulation, FilaMAX is a non-flammable product designed to remove existing, even unidentified protective coatings, grease, wax and accumulated dirt. It can safely be used on polished and unpolished marble as well as terracotta, quarry tiles, porcelain, glazed ceramics, concrete, and agglomerates, providing a thorough clean without compromising the natural surface.
Available in 5-litre cans, FilaMAX is cost effective and easy to use, providing 20m² coverage per litre with a 1:5 dilution.
Once applied, it should be left to act for a few minutes before cleaning the surface with a brush or single green disc. Residues are swept up before rinsing the surface.
The launch of FilaMAX was closely followed by the new 17-product Green Line range of ecologically friendly surface care products developed to provide high performance without compromising the desired natural look of the material being protected.
The Green Line range came close on the heels of Fila establishing its Professional Installers Club that supports members and rewards loyalty with a wide range of benefits.

Square Nine is an international luxury hotel in Belgrade, Serbia, where Fila’s surface care range has been specified to protect almost 4,000m² of Italian beige limestone on floors, walls and worksurfaces.
The range of Fila’s products used includes W68, MP/90, FilaMatt wax, Hydrorep and FilaFob. FilaService, the firm’s corporate division, supervised all aspects of the treatments, from testing and mock-up to final application.
Designed by renowned Brazilian Architect Isay Weinfeld, Square Nine is a contemporary boutique-inspired hotel located in the historical centre of Belgrade.
Throughout the hotel, natural-effect Fila W68 has been used to give walls water and stain protection.
Internally, Fila MP/90 natural stain protector has been applied to the polished stone bathroom surfaces, while floors received a basecoat of Fila W68 protection followed by natural effect FilaMatt wax. Fila Hydrorep and FilaFob were used to treat the pool-side relaxation area in the hotel’s impressive Wellness Centre and Spa (pictured below). It particularly needed to be protected from continual contact with chlorinated water.
