Forest Pennant in the Forest of Dean has invested in Doosan, Bobcat and Montabert products to help it keep up with demand for its pennant sandstone. All supplied by Kellands (Plant Sales) Ltd, in Bridgwater, Somerset, the kit going into the quarry includes a Doosan DX520LC excavator to remove the 18-19m of overburden, a Montabert XL2600 hydraulic breaker mounted on a DX340LC excavator, a Bobcat E80 excavator with a drilling head, a DX340LC excavator to lever 12-14tonne blocks of Pennant stone away from the quarry face for a Doosan DL420 wheel loader to take them away.
