Limestone for offices

A new £3million office scheme in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, has been granted planning permission and will go ahead using Lincolnshire Limestone and Stamford Stone.

The project, a three story office building with parking spaces, infrastructure and landscaped area, is for Hampton Ltd.

Lead Consultant on the job is PDG Architects of London. PDG say the Lincolnshire Limestone had been chosen to give texture to the drum shaped entrance. It was felt that the Lincolnshire stone set the right tone, giving an interesting rustic look and textured surface.

The two wings which frame the entrance will be built using Stamford Stone. A contractor has yet to be announced.
