Get an environmental health check and a 25% discount if you sign up before the end of December

Planet Positive, an expert in sustainability, has launched a Business Detox programme to help you get your businesses into better environmental shape in 2013. And if you have under 100 employees and sign up before the New Year you get a 25% discount.

Planet Positive, which started life five years ago in the construction environment as a charity (it is now a private company), says its Detox is similar to a diet and gym programme for your business, enabling companies to get leaner and fitter by reducing energy and water use and producing less waste.

With the 25% discount, a year's membership can be as little as £562.50 for a company with 1-10 people (the cost is determined by the number of employees).

Business Detox is a tailored sustainability programme to help organisations save thousands of pounds by operating more efficiently. It is easy to follow using Apps in the Cloud and is designed to be managed by company executives and employees, with on-going expert advice and support from Planet Positive.

Just like jumping on the scales, the Business Detox programme helps a business accurately measure its energy and water consumption, carbon emissions and waste, and then set targets for reducing them. Every business is given access to a virtual platform to keep track of its performance and monitor progress. And its gets to display the Planet Positive logo to show it is improving its environmental performance and that the improvement is being monitored by a third party, so it is not just greenwash.

Planet Positive does not help companies achieve ISO 14001, BES 6001, PAS 2050 or any of the other standards available, although its programme can help towards achieving those standards if that is what a company wants.

You can read more about Planet Positive and other developments in Sustainability for the construction industry in the January issue of Natural Stone Specialist. But to get your 25% discount on Planet Positive membership you need to act before this year is out. Visit the website at the address below for more information.
