Moves continue to save Royal Warrant firm Fairhurst Ward Abbotts

Moves are continuing to rescue some of the assets and jobs of Royal Warrant firm Fairhurst Ward Abbotts, which went into receivership in July (click here to see the original story). The company did the re-ordering of Leicester Cathedral for the re-burial of the bones of Richard III.

Although some in the industry, especially those still supplying projects that Fairhurst Ward Abbotts was working on, already know of at least some of the moves planned, the administrators at Begbies Traynor say: "Further details cannot be provided of what these may be at this stage as they are sensitive and could prejudice any potential recoveries."
