Ringby sandstone quarry near Halifax is being sold. The stone can be used for paving, walling, masonry and ashlar. Boreholes show hard sandstone extends to a depth of approximately 26m, with test samples revealing pale yellow fine grained ferruginous slightly micaceous sandstone and no apparent discontinuities or bedding plane. The site covers 3.95hectares (9.75acres) or thereabouts and has an unexpired planning period of 27 years for mineral extraction and deposition of mineral waste. The agent is Walker Singleton.
