"Stonemason receives £6,000 award"

Stonemason Piers Conway from Portland, Dorset, is pictured showing some of his work to The Viscount Marchwood during a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship award ceremony in London. Piers received an award of £6,000 to enable him to attend a six month William Morris Craft Fellowship he has won from the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (see NSS June issue). The Viscount is the president of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, which awards the Queen Elizabeth Scolarships twice a year. To apply contact:
