Two new Directors for Szerelmey

Szerelmey's new directors: Wayne McIntyre and Tamsin Pickeral.

London-based specialist contractor Szerelmey has appointed two new Directors who it says start an exciting new chapter for the company.

Wayne McIntyre joins to head the firm’s commercial management. He has 25 years of construction industry experience in the UK and overseas.

Tamsin Pickeral, Szerelmey’s first female Director, will lead the company’s business growth, developing the Group’s status and culture in its client market and among its own people and companies.

The company says the appointments will introduce a new dynamic and perspective to complement the current board’s stonemasonry knowledge and experience.

Szerelmey has built its longstanding reputation on the excellence of its stonemasonry and restoration and its experienced design and management teams. The company has grown and evolved over the years, expanding its specialisms to include other materials such as faience, terrazzo, glazed brick and pyrolave.

Tamsin has extensive experience in Business Development and marketing across a wide range of sectors, with particular knowledge of the construction industry and a specialism in Terracotta and Faience. She is currently developing this side of the business and brings her technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to the table.

Her role at Szerelmey is wide ranging and includes Client liaison and identifying and generating new business. In addition, she brings over 20 years of professional writing experience to the marketing department and is responsible for generating all the company's technical brochures, magazines, web content and project information.

Tamsin continues to lead the business growth and development as well as the group's status and culture in the market and Szerelmey’s own companies and people.

Wayne joined Szerelmey in September 2016 as the Senior Commercial Manager. He started his career as a quantity surveyor. Later he moved to renovation & restoration company Gordon Verhoef & Krause in South Africa, where he spent seven years, becoming Branch Managing Director, before moving to the UK in 2001.

In the UK, Wayne has been involved in various large, high profile projects. He also spent two years working in Paris. His role has covered all aspects of commercial and contracts support.

His appointment as Commercial Director of Szerelmey trengthens the Board of Directors' vital contract and commercial risk management process.
