Simon Keeley has won many awards for his stone carving. He trained as stonemason at York College and worked for Bowman & Sons in Stamford, Lincolnshire, before training as a stone carver at the City and Guilds of London Art School and establishing his own business. He specialises in ornamental and historical carving and is also an accomplished lettercutter.
