A good time for masons at the National Funeral Exhibition

There were fewer memorial wholesalers exhibiting on the NAMM Tradex side of the National Funeral Exhibition this month than there had been last time, but most reported a good turn out of masons and an excellent response to their latest offerings.

The show was being staged in its new two yearly frequency at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.

The Chinese Lingfeng Group, who had hot-footed it straight from the Fireplaces Exhibition in Harrogate, were a bit disappointed, but that may be because visitors still preferred to buy their Chinese memorials from British companies.

And there were plenty of Chinese memorials on the stands of British wholesalers, although more are turning back to India as their source because India prices in sterling and the Chinese in dollars, which, with the fall in exchange rate of sterling, has increased the price of Chinese memorials.

More from the show in the next issue of NSS.
