Stone processors from Ireland were among hundreds of Intermac customers from across Europe who joined those from other industry sectors for open days at parent company Biesse’s headquarters in Pesaro, on the Italian coast of the Adriatic, last month (March).
They were able to see the new Intermac Master 850 CNC workcentre and the popular Master 33 in action in the 24,000m2 factory (part of which is pictured below), as well as other machines, including the latest waterjet cutters that the stone processors were particularly interested in.
The visitors also heard about the Five Year Total Care warranty programme that Biesse is now offering as standard on all its machines. It includes servicing and support costs and even covers operator error (although there is an excess for that).
Steve Bulmer, Managing Director of Biesse UK, says the warranty reflects the group’s commitment to its customers and being there to support them during every step of the relationship.
