The West Cork Stone Symposium celebrates stone as part of our environment and as a source of inspiration throughout the ages

Spend a weekend learning traditional skills at the West Cork Stone Symposium (24-26 March).

We've gathered some of the world's best stone carvers and dry stone wallers to share their skills with you on West Cork's stunning coastline.

Choose from dry stone walling workshops and stone carving workshops led by experts around the tiny fishing village of Ahakista on West Cork's award-winning Sheep's Head peninsula.

The packed programme includes guided walks, a photography workshop, a rock art exhibition, and even a 'walk and whiskey tour' on nearby Whiddy Island.
