Transylvania Stone Show, Cluj-Napoca, 25-27 May

The third edition of the TRANSYLVANIA STONE SHOW will host more than 50 local and overseas companies dedicated to stone innovation and application, equipment and technology, showing the latest trends in architecture and design. This will make Cluj-Napoca the capital of stone in South East Europe from 25 to 27 May. Conferences, symposiums and workshops with a wide participation of professionals from Romania, Italy, Germany,Turkey, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia will be held during the exhibition.

Cluj-Napoca is Romania's second-largest city, one of the most important academic, cultural, industrial and business centres in Romania, capital of the historical region of Transylvania, a status that resonates to this day and its roots go back to the Romans.

The city hosts the country's largest university, Babeș-Bolyai University, with more than 60,000 students, Transilvania Bank, the largest Romanian-owned bank (and the second biggest bank of the country) and the headquarters and branches of numerous IT companies (earning Cluj-Napoca the title of 'Silicon Valley of South East Europe'). Well linked with flights to other European cities, Cluj-Napoca is welcoming more and more travellers every year, attracted by the diverse and growing cultural scene, in the visual arts, performing arts and nightlife.

The stone exhibition is organized by APTRA – The Transylvania Stonemasons Association – in co-operation with Cluj Chamber of Commerce & Industry, OAR Transilvania and Publisys.
