The Tile Association has postponed its Tile Awards presentation and the associated Tiling Show. It has issued the following statement:

Following consideration of the current Coronavirus outbreak, TTA Board has taken the difficult decision to defer the Tiling Show and Awards evening, due to take place on 27 March in Birmingham.

Although there is currently no prohibition on events of this type taking place, it seems likely that the Government may introduce one in the coming days. In any case we feel that a postponement is the best course of action in order to protect the health and safety of all those whom we expect to attend the event.

We are sure that the industry will be disappointed at this turn of events, but will be supportive of the TTA Board’s decision.

The Tiling Show and Awards ceremony have established themselves as an important fixture in our industry’s annual calendar, so we are working hard to establish an alternative date. We appreciate your support and any bookings will remain valid for the new date, whenever it is set. There will of course be full publicity around the new date, to ensure maximum participation.
