The Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA), in conjunction with The Prince’s Countryside Fund, is planning a ‘Wallathon’ to repair some of the damage caused to dry stone walls by flooding.

Working with farmers in the Yorkshire Dales to restore some of the 3,500m of walls that have been damaged by floods, the Wallathon takes place 23-24 May.

Volunteers to help in the project are being called for. Everyone is welcome, whether they are members of the DSWA or not. The aim is to rebuild 250m of dry stone walling during the weekend.
