I've been working with natural materials since discovering Wiltshire Permaculture Garden near Warminster in 2004. This gave me a love of working outside with nature in a harmonious way. After a few years of gardening, general building and a brief stint as a painter and sculptor in the art world I discovered dry stone walling.

I found locking together 3d shapes to form natural structures was something I enjoyed immensely and was also good at. This led me to have a go at carving stone as well which I began introducing into my work. There are many walls in south west cornwall that if you look hard enough you will see a little stone face in!

Having built many metres of dry stone wall around the south west and working predominantly as a waller for the last 8 years I feel I am now coming back full circle. By incorporating willow and cob I am able to bring together diferent natural elements and my work is now taking on a more creative direction.
I love appplying ancient crafts to modern living. I find I am able to offer people a unique approach to landscaping that is environmentally friendly as well as in keeping with the beauty of the natural landscape.
